Having worked in-house with trade non-fiction, education, and academic publishers alike, my experience spans 15 years of editing, proofreading, marketing, and editorial project management, meaning I bring a multi-faceted level of skill and know-how to the projects on which I work. I love learning. And I especially love learning from a book that is well produced. The ones that spark curiosity and inspiration, that explain things well, and that have fantastic, high-end imagery.
Every word should illuminate the subject at hand, while design and artwork should enrich the reader’s engagement and understanding. I know what works well, and this knowledge and passion is what I bring to the non-fiction and educational materials to which I contribute.
